Kelvin Kilonzo
Kelvin was born in Kenya, grew up in Gießen and has been living in Cologne since autumn 2013. He completed his acting education at the Theaterakademie Köln and has been studying Contemporary Dance at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln since October 2016.
Since the beginning of his training at the Theater Academy, he has already worked in the independent scene and has, in addition to various short films, in the feature film “Toro” directed by Martin Hawie participated. At the same time he drew attention in productions like “Room Service // Kunsthaus Rhenania” or “Quodonien-Selbst in Stranger” (Director Gregor Weber) in the Tanztheater. The focus of his work gradually changed to the dance. Since 2016 he has participated in various projects as a dancer, e.g. at the Dynamo Festival, at the Biennale New Talents, the Museum Night Cologne, a concert series in a duo with the musician Pablo GIW u. A .. His dancing home is the urban scene, his background is Hip Hop and Breakdance, he teaches both as a lecturer at the Tanzfaktur in Cologne.
